CSU Nurse Managed Clinic Health Fair  March 14th from 10am-2pm, BSN nursing students did blood pressures and cholesterol sticks. GANS Convention Columbus, GA 2006 Congratulations to CSU-SNA for bringing home awards for Best Banner (GANS Board Winner) and Website of the Year!! We had a GREAT time in Columbus. We learned a lot at the various workshops, read about important GANS resolutions, voted in a new GANS Board for the 2007-2008 year, and attended the FUN GANS events such as PeePee/Urinal Bowling, Wheelchair racing, Three-legged Crutches racing, and Karaoke Night. We missed you and hope that next year you will help show GANS that CSU nursing students are just as committed to professional involvement as other schools. The SNA would like to encourage all SNA members to get involved in all local, state, and national Conventions and Conferences. OCTOBER is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) program is dedicated to increasing awareness about the importance of the early detection of breast cancer through a nationwide campaign. NBCAM started as a week-long campaign in 1985 with 2 founding members. Today the early detection of breast cancer followed by prompt treatment saves lives. Posted 10/05/06

Dr. Ferrol Sams Recognition Ceremony

Thank you to everyone who turned out to help serve dinner in recognition of Dr. Ferrol Sams winning the 2006 Atlanta Read Program Award for his novel Run With the Horsemen. It was a lot of hard work but we received a lot of praise from guests, the Sams family, and the library staff. As usual, those doctors couldn't do anything without us nurses!!

Clayton County Department of Family & Children's Services-School Supply Drive--this collection cleared more than 27 bookbags in a very short time. WOW!! Thank you to everyone who donated to help our School's hometown.
