  • GANS - CCSU won the Samaritans purse with 91 boxes; Heather Underwood got "Best Newsletter"; and Beverly Hill received the "Best Website" award.
  • Adopt a Family - We would like the SNA to provide a family with Thanksgiving and Christmas. We want to raise money to buy food and presents for the family. We will decide which family or organization to represent. Erika is gathering information on a family as we speak.
  • Sigma Theta Tau Conference - On Nov. 19th presents Living Long and Living Well: Perspectives on Healthy Again. This will be held in the Continuing Education building from 8:30 - 4:00.
  • Bake Sale - On Monday Nov. 8th. We need more people to sign up to work the table and bring items. You can sign up on the SNA website. You need to bag items in 2-3 depending on size. Prices will be 25 and 50 cents depending on size.
  • Belk Fundraiser - Sell tickets for $5.00 that entitles the buyer to get 20% off on selected shopping days at any Belk. We will hold a BP screening and you will receive a letter. The SNA will get all proceeds from selling the tickets. Sign up online for a timeslot.
  • Wrapping Fundraiser - This is a fundraiser where we wrap presents for donations. Belk in Fayetteville 11/26-11/27 and 12/04-12/05. We will have a commitment with Belk, so we need people to commit to being there to wrap from 6:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. There will be a list on the SNA website for times that need to be filled. We need as many people to participate as possible.
  • Dominos Fundraiser - This is a fundraiser that sells Dominos coupons for $10. The SNA will get $9 out of $10 dollars. The coupons can be used at any location in the U.S.
  • Themed Meeting - Each month the SNA would like to have a theme for the SNA meetings. For Thanksgiving we would like for everyone to bring canned goods and December we would like to do a clothing drive. Help the SNA make this possible and successful by bringing your canned goods to the next meeting.

  • Senior Shirts - Designs are due by Nov. 1st. Submit your own designs and we will vote on them online. This is for anyone that graduates in the year 2005.

  • Newsletter - Any ideas, information or stories, send them to Heather and she will put them in the newsletter.

  • Portfolio Letters - The Board will refine what you get a letter for because there is confusion about what events get letters. This information will be presented at the next meeting.

  • Christmas Party - The SNA would like to combine the Christmas party and the welcoming party for the new students who are coming into the program in December. We will need a place to have the party. If anyone has any ideas or would like to share their home, please contact a member of the SNA.

  • Nationals - This year it will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah. The SNA would like to pay as much as possible for everyone to go, but it will be based on participation with SNA events. It is estimated that plane tickets will be around $350 apiece. More information will be presented later.
  • Meeting brought to a close at 1303.

Submitted by: Dawn Pollard - Secretary
