SNA Minutes

This
meeting was called to order at 1304.
Officers present were Kristal Lee (President), Jerita James (VP1), Robert Ware
(VP2), Mary Philips (Treasurer), and Ayesha Muhammad (Secretary).

BAKE SALE UPDATE: We raised $233.79! Thanks to everyone who contributed to our
success.
-
We are getting an SNA mailbox for paper work
or checks. The location is TBA, but it IS coming soon.

NSNA UPDATES: We will be submitting our newsletter for Nationals and hopefully other
awards as well. If anyone is interested in running for a National officer, the
deadline is Jan. 21st. The awards deadline is
Feb. 25th.
- TRAVELING TO NSNA: We will transported by C&E motor coaches, which seats 49 people.
We will leave on the 31st and return on the
4th. We will be picked up at the school. We will have to park in overflow lot.

NSNA MEMBERSHIP CARDS: Please email Ayesha your NSNA membership numbers so that we can keep record of them. If any of your personal I.D. info. has changed, email
that as well.

UPDATE ON MEMORY WALK: CCSU ranked 23 out of 100 teams for raising money.

SNA MEMBER OF THE MONTH: Our new SNA member of the month is Veveca Howard. CONGRATS!!!!

CHRISTMAS PARTY: December 12th. It will be held at Holly’s mom’s house at 7 p.m. Everyone, please bring a gift and
food or drink to the party. The gift should cost no more than $5. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED AT THE SNA CHRISTMAS PARTY!

SCHOLARSHIP INFO: They are still working on them. You may get a letter stating whether or
not you will receive one and what you will be receiving.

T-SHIRTS: Should be ready by the 1st of the year. Everyone will get an order form. It will be on our website. Email it to Kristal. The price for the shirt
is between $12-$15.

COMMUNITY SERVICE INFO: Feeding the hungry at Kenya’s church. Please bring canned good by Monday and drop them off in the conference room. Greater Mosby’s Church off
Boulevard. Leave your name in the bag if you are not giving it directly to her so that you can receive a letter.

BUDGET: May need a fundraiser if more than 28 people go. Hotel is $178/night. 4 people
in a hotel room. We are trying to pay for everybody. You should only have to
pay for registration. SUGGESTION: Everyone pay a deposit? This way everyone
that wants to go can go!
