Mission Statement
Clayton State’s
Accounting Club works towards enhancing professionalism; increasing
knowledge of the accounting profession; providing career growth and
networking opportunities; as well as facilitating
student/faculty/practitioner interaction. In addition, contact between
accounting clubs of other colleges/universities and local chapters of state
and national professional accounting organizations are encouraged.
Benefits

a career enhancing organization. Our events are geared to provide
opportunities for its members to network with:
- Professionals:
through scheduled events and our relationship with the GSCPA, you get to
talk with accountants from many areas of accounting. This allows you to
get information about scholarships, internships, jobs, and the CPA exam.
- Other
accounting students: other
students can offer great advice about goals, schedules, classes,
professors, and internships through their experiences.
- Faculty:
professors can offer more
personalized advice and instruction you just can’t get in the
classroom.
