The History of the Pre-Pharmacy Student Association 

        During the Spring semester of 2006, a group of pre-pharmacy students came together in hopes of forming an organization tailored to students planning to pursue a pharmacy related career. Officers were chosen and they devoted their energy and time to creating the organization with the help of their advisor,  Dr. Hornbuckle. The Pre-Pharmacy Student Association of Clayton State University was officially recognized September 19th, 2006.

        The purpose of the Pre-Pharmacy Student Association (PPSA) is to provide academic and career information to students interested in the field of pharmacy. The nature and function of PPSA is to promote awareness of knowledge relevant to pharmacy through guest speakers, monthly meetings, and the official website. We strive to encourage personal development and unity among pre-pharmacy members.
